It's been almost a month since my Dad passed away. In a week it will be a month. I just still can't believe this has happened. I don't understand why God had to take my Dad. Dad was our rock, the one that kept everything/everyone together. He made sure everything was taken care of, he always knew how to make us laugh when we needed it. When we'd have doubts about anything, he was there to make sure we knew how special and proud he was of us. When we needed help on something, if something was broke, we'd ask Dad to help us fix it, not just with things, but what problems. He was always there no matter what. It's like, now... who do we go to now? We needed him! I can't help be think about when I get a serious bf, who's gonna scare him with saying like " Take good care of my daughter, if you hurt her, I'm gonna break your knee caps" or what not or when I get engaged, my fiance wont be able to go up to my Dad and ask permission or how he's not gonna be around to walk me down the isle, or be around to see his first grandchild, and be there and do things grandpa's do. My Dad's Gone! And there's nothing I can do to fix it, change it. This is ridiculous!!! He can't be gone. There's too much still left in life for him to experience. This isn't fair. I hate this. With my Grandma H. or my Grandpa W. you'd expect them to pass on cuz of their really bad health, but with my Dad... it was unexpected. His health wasn't so good, but you wouldn't expect him to pass on. This is stupid!! But yet I'm pass the point of just sitting on the couch or in my bed thinking it's just a dream, because it's not. It's a reality nightmare that no person on earth can fix or wake you up from and tell you it's okay, because for one, it's real and you won't ever be okay again. The pain will get a little bit easier, but it will always be there. It won't be normal again. I just wish I would of been able to of let my Dad know how much I was so very proud of him. I would of told him that I know that he does the best that he can for his family every single day, and I know that it's not easy cause of his health, but that I was so proud of him for not just making sure his family was provided for but for being my Dad. There is a poem I found on the computer that I wrote down in a Fathers Day card last yr. This is what it said...
Happy Fathers Day
A Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
and helpful and strong
In all that you do,
a dad's love plays a part.
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!
Than I had the Superman symbol underneath, but instead of Superman, it said Superdad. He was a Superman. My Superdad. My Hero! He was the best Dad any family could have had. I know a lot of people say that, but he really was. I couldn't have asked for any man better to be my Dad. There's no man on the entire earth that could even take the place of my Dad even a fraction of a little bit.
There's a locket that I have that I got for my 19th birthday. I am planning on putting a pic of my Dad in there. That way I can always have him close to my heart ALWAYS!!
My Dad and I always had a saying we'd say to each other all the time. He'd say " I love you for an eternity " than I'd say " Love you for two eternities ". I'm gonna miss that so much.
LOVE YOU FOR TWO ETERNITIES DAD!!!!!

In Loving Memory: Valon Ray Ericksen ( My Dad )
Valon Ray Ericksen, 51, passed away early Friday morning at his home in Manti, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 13, 1959 to the late Shrol Ericksen and Patricia (Robert) Weiss. They have two children, son, Vaylon Ray Ericksen Jr., and daughter, Erica Elaine Erickson.
Valon was a very hard worker. For the most part of his life, he worked as a cement finisher. He had a way with people to where he could always make them smile or even laugh. We look forward to the day we can see him again.

Hello There :)
WOW!! Now I really have been slacking on writing on my Blog. Last time I wrote was around Thanksgiving lol.
But even though this is late... I hope all you had a terrific Christmas and New Years! I had a good Christmas. Got a lot of good things. And New Years was pretty fun. Hung out with some ppl. Hadn't had that fun in a while.
On the 4th of January I believe, when our Church Guys came over they brought a girl with them to meet me. Her name was Rachel. She's super nice. But she wanted to see if I'd like to start going to the Singles Ward with her. And I decided to cuz it would be good for me. But two days later she came back with two other girls that are in Relief Society and talked with me. We had a good talk. They was at my house for maybe an hour or so. I liked them. They were also really nice. That friday Rachel had invited me to go to a girl's night with her with some of her friends. That was a lot of fun. It's sad but I've never had a "Girls Night" before. That meant a lot to me that she invited me. Than Sunday she picked me up and we went to Singles Ward together. I enjoyed that :).
I was pretty nervous and pretty much scared to go to the Singles Ward. But it turned out to be just like regular church but with just young ppl. Sad to say, after that Sunday of going... I haven't went since. I really need to. It's just been hard finding a way to get there. Cuz for one I don't know anybody besides Rachel and I'm worried she might get sick of me wanting her to sit by me most of the time. I just feel comfortable around her. Meeting new ppl is hard for me. It's not that I can't met new ppl, it's just I am too shy. I don't wanna feel like I don't belong there, like I'm out of place being there, ya know what I mean? But I know I need to go so I can eventually meet some good friends. Because I really need some good friends in my life. Haven't had those in such a long time. But not only good friends but one that are a good influence on me.
But I hope Rachel and I can start hanging out more. I'd really like that. I need to get out of the house more. I can't really drive long distances cuz we don't have car insurance right now and I'd be in a whole lotta trouble if I got pulled over. That's another reason why I haven't went to Singles Ward for a while. But, hopefully things will turn out being friends with Rachel. Dunno how much fuller my bowl of disappointment can get. It's scary making new friends when all of your old friends treat me the way that they did. I'm always worried that making new friends is just setting myself up for more disappointment.
I'm trying to be positive though. Not everyone is the same, I need to really realize that and keep that in my head. So I'm gonna give Singles Ward a good solid chance and just see what happens. I'm hoping it'll be a good change for me. And plus I'm hoping going to SW that it will not only help me meet new friends but only boost my self confidence up. Cuz I really need that to get boosted up. That would be so nice.
Not too much has happened since I last wrote on here. That's pretty much why I haven't wrote on here very much since November. But maybe things will look up and get interesting and exciting. :)
I'll try and write a lil bit more, if more stuff start happening more lol. Nice bloggin' for ya. See ya. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!....
Just kidding haha!! I am sure in the Christmas Spirit today though lol. And it's not even December. Must be the snow lol. But I can't wait until next month. Christmas is my favorite Holiday. I am actually listening to Christmas music right now =D. Would be so nice and awesome if I had a special someone to spend Christmas with. That would be the absolutely best present, ever!!
Not too much has been going on. Still looking for a job. Umm... we've had our kitten Spartacus for a lil over a month now. He's getting big lol. He now likes to play with my dad's socks lol. He the other day got a hold of one and was playing with it, so my dad put it in the bedroom so I got one of mine for him but he played with it for a lil bit than went into their bedroom and got my dad's same sock out and was dragging it everywhere by his teeth and playing with it lol. So cute!!
We have been getting a couple guys from our church to come over ever Wednesday for a while to tell my dad about the priesthood and about the church more, than maybe he could get the priesthood eventually. That'd be so neat! But when they come tonight I am gonna ask them if they know of any nice girls my age that they could introduce me to so I can get me some friends. Cuz I'd do it, but I am just too shy. It would help a lot if I had ppl introduce me to ppl. That'd be awesome! Can't believe I've had my license almost three months already. That's weird lol. Never thought I'd be able to really get it. I was/am so happy that I was able to.
Well I hope you all have a good rest of the week. Bye. :)

Trick or Treat?
Hey guys!
I can't believe it's the end of October already. That is crazy. Than Monday will be November, WOW!! Than before ya know it, it'll be December lol.
I just wanted to write you guys a quick blog and hope you all have a Sp00ky Fun Night Tonight. Too bad we can't celebrate it on Sunday which is really Halloween. That sucks. But most of us will anyway haha. Just no Trick or Treat tomorrow.
Did you guys here about that law the government is trying to pass about Trick or Treating? Yeah, they are trying to pass a law where if you get caught over the age of 12 Trick or Treating, you get fined $100. That is so RIDICULOUS and STUPID!!! I feel like, would people rather have kids over the age of 12 Trick or Treating, or causing problems and getting into trouble on Halloween? And the government has got more worse problems to fix than worrying if that kid over there is at the appropriate Trick or Treating age. It's one day a year to go house to house for candy. It's ONE day, not like every weekend or something. NOT THAT BIG OF DEAL, SO STOP YOUR COMPLAINING ALREADY!!!!!!! I mean, so what if kids over the age of 12 want to go Trick or Treating? It's fun and gives kids something to do. In my opinion, I see nothing wrong with it.
But anyways, hope you all have a really nice time tonight. And be careful. :)
Happy (pre) Halloween!! :)

New Kitty :)
Sorry I haven't been on here for a long time. There just hasn't been much happening to write about.
I can't believe it's October already! That is crazy. Seems like it was just the first part of July lol. But I love October, and Halloween!! Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays. I love the whole dressing up and fixing up your house all Halloweeny lol. Hopefully we will be able to this year.
Than before ya know it, it'll be December. I actually turn 20 on the 12th of December. I'm excited. I am hoping that me turning 20 will be so much better than me being in my teens. I can't wait to not be a teen anymore. Than I can't wait for Christmas. Christmas is my absolute favorite Holiday!! It's just so beautiful and the Christmas Spirit is the BEST!! And seeing all the pretty houses all decorated all awesome looking with lights and stuff and Christmas Trees.
We got a new kitten two days ago. First I seen it lost by a fence meowing. I felt bad but I knew I couldn't do anything because my dad wouldn't let me keep it. So I just left. But than the next morning my dad and mom was outside and my dad seen that kitten underneath our ramp hiding from our adult cats all scared. So my dad was trying to get it, he was actually chasing it all over the yard trying to get it, haha. But once they got it they gave it some milk and got it all warmed up. That by surprise, my dad decides to keep it. WOW! Never, EVER thought he would do that. But he wanted it for him so he could have a cat of his own. So that is pretty cool. The kitten is a boy and is orange and white. He's so cute! Once he got comfortable being here, he would start chasing after your feet when you are walking to play with them haha. And than when he is tired and you are holding him, he will climb up to one of your shoulders and sleep on one lol. It's really cute. I think he is only like 6 or 7 weeks old. We are having it be an indoor kitten for a while. Probably clear through winter. Cuz I don't want him being outside in the cold and than get run off by the older cats.
But my dad ended up naming him Spartacus lol. After that tv series called Spartacus. Spartacus is super smart. The day we got him, that night...when I showed him how to use the litter box, he learned so quickly and used it. It was so neat haha. Almost like having your child use the potty the first time LOL. He is sure a hyper kitty when he isn't tired, or hungry lol.
Well, guess I will end this now and I will try and post more on here more often. Thanks for reading and you all have a good day. :)

Job Hunting
Hey guys,
Haven't wrote here in a lil while. Nothing been going on to write about lol.
But after I got my license, like three or so days later I sent in my resume to Temple View Lodge place to clean rooms and I was all excited because they told me I have an interview. But the day of the interview I found out that the position wasn't only for cleaning, it was for being at the front desk too. And I am not interested in doing that and I kind have phone fear with ppl I don't know lol. So I canceled it. I am still looking for a job. Because I wanna do something that I know for sure that I can do and that I won't mess it up. Know what I mean? So until I am able to find a job, I am gonna babysit or something than I can get at least some kind of money.
Boy! This week has been not good for my family. First my brother ends up having my parents take him to the ER, because he had a bad pain in his kidney area and had to go check it out and they did test and xrays and stuff on him. After a few hours they figure it's just Kidney Stones. Hope it's just that. But than yesterday, my dad ends up needing to go to the hospital because he got a bad pain in his leg. He thought maybe he was getting heart problems or maybe a blood clot. But it had something to do with his blood pressure and the blood veins in his feet because of his smoking, or something like that. So they gave him some meds to help. He needs to just quit smoking. He'd feel a lot better.
The first part of this week, I met a guy and he was really cute and was in the army. He worked on the mechanic stuff. But anyways, we seemed to hit it off the first day we met but after, not so much. But oh well, there is other guys out there. I don't even think soldier boy was LDS. And I really want someone who is LDS. Because I want someone who can take me to the Temple. That is the most important thing to me right now. I won't change that for anyone.
I wanna get married in the Manti Temple. I think that Temple is just so beautiful and it looks so awesome sitting up on the hill. I think that's one of the reasons it looks pretty.
But yeah, I want someone who is LDS, because for one, to marry in the Temple and two, so our standards/morals and values are the same. And I know how I'll know if someone is the one for me... he'll be the person that I wanna be a better person for and just be the best person I possibly can be. And another is if I spend time with him, when I get home... I am smiling a lot and can't stop lol. Hopefully I'll met that man some day. Even though the waiting is tough and rocky, when I finally meet him, it will all be worth it! :)
